How LEON Works
LEON brings together three types of users in a collaborative and gamified environment. Each group plays a unique role in transforming scientific knowledge into engaging, verified, and accessible content.

Content creators (CCs)
- Members that are approved after passing a test on interpreting scientific sources.
- They first submit a written script of the content they wish to post, along with scientific references (only peer-reviewed articles, academic textbooks, official reports and data).
- Once the content is verified, they may create the post in video, audio, image, or text format.

Reviewers
- Doctoral-level members, verified by submitting proof of studentship or degree certificate (at least Ph.D. students).
- Randomly assigned to anonymously review the content submitted by CCs.
- They provide feedback and ensure the integrity and accuracy of the content and sources used.
- They can also act as a CC, but their posts are verified by another random reviewer.

Visitors
- General audience, experts & non-experts, journalists, and anyone seeking content they can trust.
- They can share, comment, like, follow, challenge, ask questions and many more…
- They may also create forums and discussions but not posts.
Content Creators craft science-based stories, Reviewers ensure their accuracy and integrity, and Visitors keep the dialogue alive through questions, feedback, and community interaction. Together, they build a social network where verified information can truly thrive.
